about

This song takes its lyrics from the Bible; The Lord's Prayer is said to have been taught by Jesus to his disciples. I got in the habit of singing it while driving my scooter around North Goa (for protection from road accidents), and eventually a melody emerged and crystallized inside my bike helmet :) This track was completely recorded in one day, on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Sparrow Recordings in Rahway, New Jersey.

lyrics

Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
On the Earth
As it is in heaven

Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
As we forgive those who debt against us

Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory

Forever and ever Amen
Amen
